Good morning everybody! As you now we are Dani and Àngels, and today we are going to talk and comparate two funny programs of America with two of Catalonia and one of Spain. This programs are Friends, Simpsons, Apm (some question more SQM), una altre cosa and Aida.

First of all we are going to explain the american programs,

FRIENDS: Friends is an American sitcom about a group of friends in New York city. It was originally broadcast from 1994 to 2004 in a total of 236 episodes. It was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman.The show has been broadcast in more than one hundred countries. It is a funny american sitcom because they use a American humor, that constist on laught about the other people and the stupid things.The characters in this sitcom are:Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox Arquette as Monica Geller, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe BuffaymMatt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing David Schwimmer as Ross Geller

SIMPSONS: The simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox (an a American's TV channel). The serie is a satirical parody of the middle class that shows American lifestyle. The main characters are the simpson's family created by Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield and shows many aspects of the human condition including American culture, society and television.The serie starts on December 17, in 1989. The show has broadcast 425 episodes. Also there are the Simpsons Movie. By the time and for the succesful of this serie, it has been actualized. In the serie there are a lot of secondary and tertiary characters like ... (see the image)

APM: apm that's means "Alguna Pregunta mes"First we have to explain that APM at the beginning there was a humor and satirical radio program created for Antoni Bassas and Xavier Bosch. Now is emited on Tv3. APM talk about the actuality and social events from Catalunya and Spain always with a satirical humor. They win the Premio Ondas on 1997. Basically it's like an a Zapping program.

UNA ALTRA COSA: una altra cosa by Andreu Buenafuente.We don' now if you remember this program, Do you? This was a Tv program emmited on Tv3, presented for Andreu Buenafuente since 2002 to 2004. With this program had been origined a lot of good characters like Palomino, Carlitos, El Gilipolles, El follonero and more others.

AIDA: It's a funny program emmited in telecino that is an stupid humor. The things that make you laugh are only the stupid things. The serie is based on a middle low class family, where the mother, Aida, is a cleaning woman that have one brother that's the best character in the serie called Luisma that's the ex-yonki of the family and the grandma. Aida has two children, Lorena and Jonathan. The friends of the family are Mauricio, Macu, and Machupichu, Chema, Fidel and Paz.

The difference between American humor and Spanish humor is that American humor is relationated more with the actually events and Spanish and Catalan are basically laugh at other people and his ridicolus and funny actions. Of course Spanish and Catalan humor is also relationated with actually

Is Humor necessary to survive?

Tell me that somebody hasn't ever laughed, It is clear that I won't believe you. So, in my opinion humor is necessary to live well.

First of all, sometimes I hear from the doctors and psychologist that laugh good for life. I don't know the reason but I think that its true, laugh makes life easyier. In addition, they say that if you smile, you pass the information to your brain that you are happy (try it now, its true).

Secondly, there are a therapy called "laugh therapy", that consist in how to laugh about everything in your life that isn't really funny. This therapy helps a lot of people that are sad always (be always sad can be a disease).

Thirdly, there are different kinds of laughs, there are the good laugh that you laugh about all with everybody, and there are the bad laugh that consists n laugh about everybody. I know that the secondly is funnyier but in the other hand, "laugh about the toher people is wrong".

In conclusion, if your life is sad, I recommend you trying to make it (laugh more), but if your life is good without laughs, you can improve it if you try to laugh more.

Computers have made the world a better place.

Now a days the people can't live without the tecnology and the computers. All that are around us are relationated with the tecnology, the computers and the internet too. But the problem is, is it good?

On the one hand, the computers made the life more easy, for example to make homeworks, treballs de recerca, to search information and all this things that we, the students, have to make every day.

On the other hand, computers gives problems like disease, or to lose the contact with the reality, the society, friends, family and all of this.

In conclusion, I have to recognize that the computers now a days are necessary to survive in por world, but the abuse of this can comporte a lot of problems.

La Troba Kung-Fú at Apolo

La Troba's mission to bring the lively sound of rumba Catalana to the world, brings they backto home territory on November, when the celebrated band play Barcelona's Sala Apolo.

The cost of the tickets are 8€ in advançe or 10€ at the door.

Doors open at 8:30 pm.

They play rumba catalana and their concerts are very funnys and exitings. Finaly the entry is not very expensive.

Prostitutes protest poor treatment

Some 100 sex workers went to the streets of Raval in Barcelona recently to denounce a recent crackdown be Barcelona's Guàrdia Urbana.

The police sweeps made few arrests, but were staged to intimidate prostitutes and make headlives.

While prostitution is legal under Spanish law, Barcelona's municipal orinare forbids the "offering, solicitation or regotiation, weather direct or indirect, of paid sexual services in public sapce". Infractions are punishable by fines of up to 3.000€ for sex workers and 198€ for clients. Clarisa Veloci, the organizer, says that around 90% of city prostitutes are self-employed and have willingly chossen to do the job that they do. She says that many police fires have no legal grounds and infrige the rights of prostitutes.

They only wants to work without feel uncomfortable on they work and amounts to gender violence.

LISA WIXELL, A FASHION DESIGNER

Lisa Wixell is a fashion designer from Sweden who has lived and worked in Barcelona for the past seven years. In November 2007 after designing collections for others all her carrer, Wixell decided to open her own fashion botique.

She come to Barcelona for the lifestyle and weather, and because she say that its easer to be a designer here for both economicar and cultural reasons, but also yo find good people to work with.

She say that the inspiration comes from everywhere, but mostly she's inspired by the female body. She starting to make fashion clothesfor men, but now with the shop she only do women's fashion clothes. Womens come to her shop to buy something special, like one dress, one piece of clothin to wear to a party or a special occasion...

She things that the Spanish and Catalan people like to dress up only for a special occasions.

After all, she is a great designer.
